Citation Number History of Tabata’s Publications

December 31, 2021

Clicking on the words “VIEW ALL” at the Google Scholar site, as seen in the image of the previous news article, we get a wide graph of citation number history. The record starts from 1982 as shown on the left. Tabata’s retirement was in the year 1999. The lower plot starts from this year. (At the right of the upper one, the data from 1999 to 2004 appear again.) These data indicate that the citation number per year of Tabata’s publication continued to be almost constant more than twenty years after retirement.
